NICEIC SEMINARS:
The NICEIC will be holding 2 different seminars throughout the day from their dedicated Seminar Room.
1. An Introduction to the wiring regulations - BS7671: 2008
‘As the revision date for the changes to the Wiring Regulations gets ever closer, NICEIC will be updating contractors as to the key changes they will need to recognize and implement, from January 2008. NICEIC will be looking to answer any questions and provide information on the support available to help contractors through this transition, as easily and efficiently as possible.’
2. Domestic Periodic Inspection, Testing & Reporting
‘Periodic Inspection and Testing is one of the most demanding and difficult jobs for an electrician to undertake and the legal responsibilities placed on them when conducting the report are extensive. Throughout this seminar, NICEIC will help contractors improve their understanding of Periodic Inspection Reports so that they can be confident in delivering quality reports to their customers.’
Each seminar will be followed by a Question & Answer session. This is a great opportunity to cleare up your queries, by asking the experts!

IDHEE SEMINARS:
The IDHEE will be holding 3 seminars throughout the day, from the other dedicated seminar room, located just behind the catering area in the Exhibition Hall.
1. ‘Designing For Profit’
This is a seminar to introduce and discuss the reasons for the IDHEE Domestic Heating Design Course - based upon the CIBSE Domestic Building Services Panel “Domestic Heating Design Guide”. The course teaches heat loss calculations, pipe and equipment sizing from first principles. This enables the installer to avoid buying over-sized equipment, so improving profit margins or enabling keener pricing. Success in the examinations, leads to an offer of membership of the industry’s professional body.
